I arrived in Mumbai just fine and the weather was really hot. My time traveling India and the last couple of days at the Nelpura homestay and on the cruise was just fantastic! The owner and the staff were very helpful, kind and magnificent in their professionalism of their work. I will remember the times in a remarkable way and with all the pictures I have taken, which I showed to all of my friends at my “welcome-back and birthday-party”, I have memories of a lifetime. I‘m sure some of my friends want to experience India the same wonderful way I did with all the care ness I got from India Invites and Marvel Cruise Tours.
Thank YOU and Nilita for a remarkable time it really enriched me culturally and rejuvenated me mentally : - )
Just two little things that I would change next time I do the tour: The hotel SeaView in Mumbai was very dirty and as I found out later with other accommodations the price vs the benefit was not in relation. The Grand hotel/Abad Metro in Cochin where clean and good service but no other international travelers. It was a “cold” atmosphere and had no character. I really preferred to stay at little homestays and interact with other people, listening to their experiences and enjoyed their company.
The driver was nice by asking me (apart from driving fast and some other issues), if I have all my papers, passport and did not leave things behind. In Cochin he cared nicely with an umbrella and carried my suitcase to the homestays. He cleaned the car very carefully everyday and after we cleared the situation with the water bottles, he had them ready for me every day. I think in the end he just had to be more informed from his boss. This now the very honest opinion of me. Maybe other customers see it very different about him. I just took the time to inform you very detailed as I think it would help you to know in the future because I believe a truthful feedback helps you more. As I said YOUR service was EXCELLENT! Can’t thank you enough : -D
The other arranged drivers, the wonderful sightseeing with Sunil in Mumbai and the drop offs and pickups as well where brilliant. Thanks for everything. Sunil is such a nice and kind person. Would you mind giving me the email details from the guide showing me around in Fort Kochi? I want to personal thank him again for fascinating me with the “old times”. He was just remarkable the way he told me from St. Francis Church and the whole history about Vasco da Gama. Amazing knowledgeable person!
Attached you will find a picture of you both and me with other guests at Nelpura homestay. Thank you very much again for the whole organisation, the always helpful back support and reach ability at all times. This means really so much for me.
Prashant and Nilita: There is one thing I like to ask you to organise for me. It is very much essential for me. I experienced that I can trust you and that´s why I ask you to help me out. I´ll take care about the costs and transfer the money. Don’t worry about this. Here is the story: I like you to organise a taxi from Alleppey to Kochi this week. Carrying the kitten from Sajeesh Nair from Marvel Cruise to a friend of mine in Fort Kochi. I want to know the kitten in good caring hands and my friend will take care of it. I will donate to an orphanage and a school at my friends place in return. I found the kitten on some cardboard swimming down the backwaters. Taking care of it meant incredible much to me since I have three cats at home and loving animals all my life. I grew up in a big family with three brothers and we had lots of animals at home in our big garden too. Sheep, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats and even hedgehogs. As you know from your visits in Switzerland, the Americans and the Europeans take good care of their pets and I remember you having a cat once too. Please let me know if you can help me in this matter. I will send you the pickup and drop off details when I know if it is possible for you to arrange the “kitten-taxi”. I hope you can manage and I know a happy end for the kitten (India Invites was pleased to arrange this kitten-taxi!!!!).
